You want to go out on a date. You want to be with your significant other and enjoy yourselves. But you’re broke and badly needs cash, what do you do?
Personal finances can be quite a thing to mess up especially if you’re not spendthrift enough on a date as a person. But don’t falter. There are few things that you can do to make up for your social dating life without having to worry on a tight budget. Here’s how:
1. Use cash
Far too many of us hardly keep track of what we spent from time to time. By using a credit card, you could make up for some embarrassing situations on a date even if the money is not available in the account. What you should do is to take out enough cash beforehand so you don’t run out at a time that you need it the most. Because of the credit world, many have not practiced discipline on themselves.
2. Dutch Treat
Appearing or showing that you have all the money in the world may impress your date. But you must also take note that all the financial burden must not constantly fall on your shoulders. Even if you make a decent income, there’s no reason that the other person cannot from time to time pay their own way. In time, your date will understand and realize that he or she must come in share with your expenses too.
3. Does A Coupon Go With It?
A lot of areas have offered vouchers with discount on them and yet many of us have not taken advantage of them. Don’t be afraid to use them on a date. Just because you use a coupon doesn’t necessarily means that you are a cheapskate. If there are some offers for some things, in a restaurant or anywhere else in the world, don’t be hesitant to use it.
Your pocket may be downright bleak, but your date with that special someone shouldn’t carry the burden. As much as possible, do anything that can ease your financial burden by taking advantage of the options available for you. Just because you’re spendthrift doesn’t mean you can’t have a great time.
